It’s a hangout for programmers and sysadmins. Lurking is disallowed, that’s pretty much the only non-obvious rule.
What inspired this community?
LMR is a shit channel.
What sets your community apart from others
Diversity. Where a lot of communities are topical, we’ve got all sorts of nerds talking about all sorts of interesting things. Not necessarily computer related, either.
What is your goal with this community?
- Make IRC great again.
- Take over snoonet.
What is your community (in)famous for?
- Sending matrix users to /dev/null.
- Hating rollerblades for NO REASON AT ALL (oh we have reasons). THOSE REASONS ARE BULLSHIT
